About the Fund
Marcellus Consistent Compounders AIF is India's most concentrated long-only equity AIF, holding just 10–15 stocks with a minimum 5-year investment horizon and annual turnover below 15%. Registered as a Category III AIF, the fund is permitted to deploy leverage up to 2× NAV — though the strategy intentionally runs unleveraged, preserving purity of return attribution to the portfolio's underlying business quality.
The fund's investment process is anchored in forensic accounting analysis — a proprietary 12-factor model screens for accounting manipulation before any company is considered for investment. This forensic-first approach filters out India's most famous corporate frauds (DHFL, IL&FS, Satyam-era businesses) that deceived conventional fundamental analysis. Only businesses with clean accounts, deep competitive moats, and 15%+ earnings compounding pass the screening.
